All masks sold in the Texinov Shop\u00ae store are produced in France in our factory at La Tour du Pin in the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region. The machines that help in their production are also made in France, as well as the materials used.<\/p>\n

What is the difference between a TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 PPE-MD mask and a TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 PPE mask ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The difference between the two references, a TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 PPE mask and a TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 PPE-DM mask, is a difference in norms. Both products meet the requirements of the PPE norm, i.e. the EN 149 norm.
The difference is that our TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 PPE-MD also meets the EN 14 683 standard for Type II R surgical masks. This standard requires additional testing through bacteriological controls by independent laboratories, which are not performed on the TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 PPE reference.
Therefore, this reference is a “dual use” mask: a mask that is both an individual protective equipment and a medical device as mentioned by the ANSM. Source ANSM 2013: https:\/\/ansm.sante.fr\/<\/a>.
These masks are intended more particularly for a professional clientele which is mobilized within hospital structures, EPHAD or medical practices.<\/p>\n

How long can I wear the TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 mask ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The maximum wearing time is 8 hours of continuous wear. It is therefore perfectly suited to a working day. TexiShield\u00ae FFP2 is a single-use mask and is not washable.<\/p>\n

TexiShield\u00ae masks are very comfortable, but above all they are breathable, which makes them different from other masks available on the market. The outer layers of our mask are Oeko-Tex certified. Lightweight and breathable, they are easy to forget.<\/p>\n
